Why I Believe in 'For the People, Not the Party'
Local government isn't about party politics. It's about picking up trash, fixing playgrounds, keeping kids safe, and making sure families have great parks to enjoy.
Local Government Is Different
When I tell people I'm running for the park district board, some assume it's a partisan political move. It's not.
Local government — especially park district government — is about the basics: clean parks, safe playgrounds, working irrigation, good sports fields, and programs that serve families. It's not about party labels. It's about results.
What 'For the People, Not the Party' Means
It means I listen to residents before I listen to party leaders. It means I study the facts before I take a position. It means I work with anyone — regardless of political affiliation — who wants to make our community better.
It means I put residents before politics. Every time.
